Fall Season Schedules Have Arrived

OGFC! Below is information for everyone to know, even if you are not on the fall roster for a team. Please review all of this imporant information and contact your manager if you have any questions. FALL ROSTER PLAYERS: The GPSD schedule has been posted and all of the games have been entered into Team Cowboy. In order to minimize the amount of emails to your inbox, we have disabled the automatic game reminders and HQ will send one email reminder to all of you on the Monday and Wednesday before your match. SOME IMPORTANT REMINDERS:
It is up to you all to make sure you RSVP by 5 PM the Wednesday prior to your match.
RSVP for YOUR TEAM ONLY.
Please RSVP as "Playing" or "Not Playing". Only reserve players should RSVP as "Available to Play". Please avoid RSVPing as "Maybe".
You can go ahead and RSVP for all of your available matches this season now.
Each match is limited to the first 19 people who RSVP.
Managers will call on Reserve Players to play if there are not 19 available players.
If you have RSVP'd and your plans change after Wednesday, change your status on Team Cowboy and contact your manager or coach immediately.
Payment and/or arrangements need to be made by this Thursday, Sept. 10. No pay, no play.
All players must have an up to date OASA Players card. CHECK IT NOW! We've have many players show up with expired cards. You cannont sweet talk your way in to playing.
Reminders about playing:
All home teams must supply nets AND corner flags.
No dogs allowed on the premisis.
Referees will be cracking down on swearing or aggressive talk (even to yourself or your own players).
If a player receives a red card, they must leave the field and be out of sight of the referee. Play will not resume until the player is gone.
Don't get a red card.
Show up to your match at least 30 minutes prior to your kick-off time to warm up.
Please clean up after yourself and leave the field better than you found it. Please help your manager with setting up and taking donw nets and flag and help with collecting team balls or other gear.
If you are not playing this fall or are a Reserve Player:
Managers will make calls or emails for additional player on the Wednesday or Thursday before each match. You can RSVP as "Available" prior to each match so the Manager will know whether or not to call on you.
Practices will continue on Sunday morning at 8:30. We will continue with Roosevelt until such time as we encounter a conflict. Many OGFC games are on Sundays so team coaches and managers may not be available for all practices.
We would like 1 or 2 people to step up and help manage the practices. Please contact Todd at todddiskin@gmail.com if you can help. Feel free to encourage other friends to join up. I will get you some gear to use.
